The link with Adastra - the out-of-hours IT system - means GPs can access patient records without moving between the two systems. Dr Gillian Braunold, clinical director of the SCR programme, said GPs had shown 'a lot of enthusiasm' for the link.
Dr Rob Stokes, medical director of out-of-hours provider BARDOC, said the move would be 'extremely helpful' in ensuring that information follows patients.
