Four new chapters in MIMS

03-Dec-07

From January 2008, MIMS will include four new resource chapters – palliative care, guidelines, visual guides and essential clinical comparison tables.
After a year of the new design and inclusion of generic drug listings, the MIMS team wanted to see how the publication could be improved further.

Following extensive readership research, MIMS will now include four new resource chapters, specifically designed for the busy GP.

The four new resource chapters in MIMS
Tables Existing and new quick reference tables all in one place
Guidelines Concise summaries of national guidance on chronic disease
Palliative Care Opioid equivalence charts, WHO analgesic ladder and other resources
Visual guides Pictorial guides to diabetes and respiratory devices

Look out for these changes in January 2008.

If you are an NHS GP practising in the UK and do not receive MIMS or have a change of address, please send us an email with your name, GMC number and surgery address.
