The ANP is pleased to announce details of a forthcoming conferences designed specifically around prescribing for Hental Health patients. The conferences will take place on the 19th November 2008 at Stirling Management Centre
The title of the conferences will be Prescribing and related issues for Mental Health Patients and, in response to feedback from our event in Dunfermline in April 08, focuses on providing Mental Health nurses with some clinical education
Jane Walker will be discussing the Strateg for Nursing Midwifery and Allied Health Professional prescribing. There will be a workshop on Unlicenced and off label Medicines as well as issues around prescribing controlled drugs. You will also hear about the Physical Health Checks for Mental Health Patients and research on the impact this has had on mental health patients
