Crouch kicks off BP campaign

A campaign to help raise awareness of the dangers of high BP has been launched by Portsmouth City Teaching PCT and backed by players from Portsmouth football club.

The campaign called ‘Know Your Numbers’ will feature images of the players, such as striker Peter Crouch, on billboards across Portsmouth in an attempt to encourage local people to get their BP checked.

The PCT has set up special ‘pressure stations’ across the city to offer free BP testing and information. Portsmouth fans attending their club’s next home league match will also be able offered the chance to measure their BP.

The campaign will run for one week kicking off on the 8 September.
