GP Curriculum Centre

Welcome to our GP Curriculum Centre, which has been approved by the RCGP as a good quality educational resource. Here you can find a range of information and resources to help you meet the learning requirements of the RCGP curriculum, for the MRCGP exam, CPD and revalidation.

How the curriculum is organised
The curriculum is made up of a core curriculum and 31 interpretive statements. The core curriculum, Being a General Practitioner, describes the key attributes of a competent GP. The interpretive statements describe examples of the core curriculum in practice - the GP consultation, the professional and managerial aspects of general practice, and the role of the GP in managing the care of special groups of people and clinical problems.

How to use this resource centre
All you need to do is click on one of the statements you are interested in. We have put together some key articles and tools for each of the statements to support you in your use of the curriculum.

To make it as easy and clear as possible we have presented it as it appears in the curriculum map on the RCGP website, so each section corresponds to a statement.

In addition, on the right hand column, we have provided a list of useful links outside Healthcare Republic, as well as links to the relevant resources on the RCGP website.
