3rd UK Stroke Forum Conference 2nd-  4th December 2008


Healthcare professionals working in stroke care and research across the UK are being invited to attend the third annual UK Stroke Forum on the 2nd - 4th December 2008 at the Harrogate International Centre. 

Hosted by The Stroke Association this is the largest UK multidisciplinary stroke conference of the year and expected attendance is over 1,200. All pre-registered delegates can attend one of three training sessions being run by The National Stroke Nursing Forum, The British Association of Stroke Physicians and The Multidisciplinary Rehabilitation team. 

A key highlight of the event includes a review of The National Stroke Strategy for England - one year on by Professor Roger Boyle, National Director for Heart Disease and Stroke.

A poster display and ideas fair will accompany the conference which is an interactive display of new ideas in stroke research, technology and best practice. 

The Call for Abstracts is open until 27 August 2008.
